Donald Bazell

Donald Lewis Bazell of Sarasota, Florida died suddenly on April 19th, 2016 at the age of 57. Donald was born on October 1, 1958 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and was a lifelong Sarasota resident. Donald is survived by his beloved daughter Ariel Bazell of Sarasota; his loving mother Clara Bazell of Bradenton; his three brothers Tim Bazell and Paul Bazell of Bradenton and Michael Bazell of Anna Maria Island. He is also survived by his nieces Stephanie, Kayla, Brooke, Isabelle, Sierra, Desiree and Madison; and nephews Jeremy, Ryan, Adam, Luke, Gabriel and Aidan. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Natalino and Roma Mattacchione; brother Roland Bazell and his nephew Matthew Bazell.

Donald was an old soul with a huge heart and a wonderful sense of humor. There was nothing he loved more than his family, especially his daughter Ariel for whom the world revolved. He was always amused by a classic movie, appreciated a meaningful song, and loved to cook a big Italian meal for anyone who would partake but he may be remembered the most for his animated storytelling which would make even the hardest of hearts roar with laughter. John Lennon once sang, "We all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun", but Donald will shine on longer and brighter than most. He will be profoundly missed by all who loved him..
